With Tammy's home-based Pilates studio, you’ll improve your posture, body alignment, strength and get one heck of a core workout.
A form of low-impact exercise, Pilates, specifically focuses on exercises for the core muscles, however, it is important to know that the core includes the entire trunk: the abdominals, the hips, the inner & outer thighs, and the back. Pilates can be done with or without equipment but either way, the moves are slow and precise and involve breath control.
Pilates complements all other fitness endeavors because it prepares your body to move better. Adding it into your routine will help you lift heavier, run faster, swim with better form, or even achieve that elusive arm balance in yoga.
